Louise is a 2014 TCTeardrops 5×9. I got a few key uprades when I had her built. A full width waterproof toolbox, solar panel for recharging the battery, some fans for interior cooling and landing pads for a future Yakima roof system.
I’m still working on organizing and customizing the galley, and finding ways to best utilize the space (but don’t get me wrong, there is a LOT Of space and I fear I can overload it with stuff I don’t need because of how much room there is!)
I made a quilt over Thanksgiving for the bed, and found it to be a bit on the small size. So I made a second one… I keep both in the camper during the cool months, but will probably only need one come summer (if that!). If it’s not already obvious, I love color. Bright, bold color.

Curtains came next, complete with black lining of “how to build a campfire” fabric just for fun. They keep the early morning sun out and let me sleep in when camping, plus I have plenty of privacy as well.
My next sewing projects are a couple of interior hanging organizers to keep the things I normally leave on my bedside table… a tube of Burt’s bees, my phone, glasses and kindle. I’ll attach them to the walls on either side of the camper for easy to reach access.
I don’t like to take myself too seriously, so the backing fabric of my very pretty, feminine colorful quilt is covered in great outdoors pinup men. I tend to leave the sexy lumberjacks facing up because they don’t show as much dirt, and my dog tracks a lot of it inside when we are camping!
